But after installing Clean windows. I mean I have deleted all the partitions and installed new windows. But after completing the installation everything is working without Wifi. There is no wifi on my laptop now. is not available at this moment so I can't download the driver. I have downloaded multiple drivers but nothing is working. or I don't know which version should be perfect for me. Please anyone help me to find the correct Wifi Driver for my laptop.

I've tried a factory reset, tried using HP recovery manager to reinstall the wifi (it shows the RALINK 2011 802.11 b/g/n but this won't reinstall when I try, it just brings up an exclamation mark and says it "may not have properly installed"),

I've tried installing all the normal windows updates, I tried reinstalling the Realtech family controller, I also tried downloading the correct RALINK 802.11 driver from the HP drivers page but this also comes up with "this may not have properly installed" or something to that effect. I've run through these steps several times over several hours for three days but no joy

P.S. I've just discovered using the HP Recovery Manager that when I try to reinstall the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver, this also comes up with a red Exclamation Mark and "this may not have properly installed"

Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, there's an issue with the drivers.

Also, download and install the Wi-Fi driver and the BIOS from this link. The Wi-Fi driver is listed under the option "Driver - Network". To find out the name of the Wi-Fi adapter, go to the device manager.

Ok I just reinstalled the operating system exactly as instructed, but I still have no wifi driver in the device manager, when I disconnnect from USB I have no wifi and no wifi option in the network troubleshooter, it just doesn't exist - nothing has changed. Do i need to check for Windows updates again (I have done a couple of factory resets in the last few days, then done all the updates, all to no avail)

I recommend taking the PC back for a replacement because the card might be glitchy or maybe there could be a bigger issue. Try all the steps suggested above like checking if the power saving mode is turning off the card or uninstalling and installing the card drivers.

*The Wifi adapter is working as of the posting of this message. All I did today was open the lid, and then restarted the thing to get to the BIOS, then exit the BIOS. Then boot into Windows. I was using the external wireless adapter before the restart, unplugged it during the restart.

Update both Intel wifi and BT drivers, see below.
Try to disable hybrid sleep.
Try to change action for Close the lid.
Try to disable BT if you are not using it.
Set PCI Express - Link State Power Management to off.
Disable PSP and set CAM, see below.
Uninstall Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility and let Windows deal with wifi networks (two programs fighting over the management of wifi).
Search for W10 patches and solutions related to wake up problems.

Power Save Polling (PSP) Causes Connection Issues with Access Points
"PSP mode is a feature that provides extended battery life for laptop computers. The mode requires coordination between the AP or router and the Wi-Fi adapter. Some APs or routers may not implement the feature correctly or completely.

How to fix
You can contact the AP or router vendor for updated software or firmware to correct the problem.
As an optional workaround, you can manually put the Wi-Fi adapter into continuously aware mode (CAM). This disables the PSP feature."

An AP typically take 254 connections. You may be able to see what type the AP is by going to one of 192.168.1.254, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 in your browser and you should get the home page of the AP. Whether those numbers are in the right range you can check by looking at your own IP address. The APs number is normally at the top or bottom of the range and of course you can scan for all the devices on the network. Depending on your luck the AP may display what connections it has on the home page.

So I gave up and just deleted the updated and moved on. I noticed that my external wireless adapter was not blinking, but I was still connected to the internet. I unplugged it and lo and behold it was my wifi adapter that was keeping me connected.

Sounds like you are missing a driver. I had a similar problem and was fixed when I ran updates after install. If not you need to find you wifi card and download the driver for it. What are the specs for your computer?

Maybe you have some drivers or packages missing. This worked for me: WiFi icon on wing panel disappeared. Try it. I face such an issue many times (mainly after huge updates) and, until it is fixed, we will experience that problem.
