The Ad Hoc committee has been created in the County Council. This
should help to organize the public participation process on the road/
trail's future, on the schedule mentioned below. This is an exciting
step!

Subject: Mud Lane Ad Hoc Committee
Aloha Friends,
The Hawai'i County Council passed resolution 549-08 which establishes
a Mud Lane Ad Hoc Committee. The purpose of the committee is to work
with the County Administration and the community to come up with a
long term disposition plan for Mud Lane road. The members of the Ad
Hoc Committee are:
Chair - Dominic Yagong
Vice Chair - Pete Hoffmann
Member - Emily Naeole
Member - Angel Pilago
We are in the midst of deliberating our County Operating Budget, as
well as going through public hearings on the administration
incinerator proposal. I will schedule the initial meeting in April,
and hopefully the group can come up with a reasonable schedule to help
us address the disposition of Mud Lane. Thank you very much for your
support and I look forward to working with all of you.
Warmest Aloha - Dominic Yagong, Councilmember
