My pace is getting better. For long runs I try and target 10 minute
miles and for shorter runs (under 8 miles) I try and target 9 min
miles or faster. But when its hot out my pace goes south really
quick.
I checked out the race on the NOTC site. They just haven't opened
registration yet. Check about a month or so ahead of time and you
should be able to register through NOTC via a link to
active.com. Or,
you can usually go to some local businesses and register there. You
can also register the day of the race.
