# smail -bv -v2 ipsonline.com!srb
scanning /u/bin/uuname output ...done
bind_addr(ipsonline.com) called from router inet_hosts.
bindlib: MX lookup for ipsonline.com
add_mx_hint: non-implicit MX 10 hint for 209.123.94.195.
router inet_addrs: gethostbyaddr_lookup not a domain literal ipsonline.com.
ipsonline.com!srb ... not deliverable: unknown host
I check out the destination :
# host ipsonline.com.
ipsonline.com has address 209.52.182.123
ipsonline.com mail is handled (pri=10) by 209.123.94.195
What's the problem?

hmmm. you mail exchanger doesn't have a name, and smail seems to
expect one. i don't know if that constitutes s a bug in smail or not,
but your DNS configuration is certainly unusual.
the named documentation seems to imply that your MX record must
have a name, and not just an IP address.
