this goes to newbies / questions becuase i've had trouble posting to questions

does sawmill represent a comparable (i htink i pslleed it right)
window / desktop manager?

also...

has anyone noticed that under FreeBSD 4.1 RELEASE that like, an 8 gig
partition fills up REALLY REALLY fast, when in M$ Winblows...it doesn't
NEARLY AT ALL take up 1/4 that space. i downloaded the 2.2-stable, 3.0 &
4.0 stables....but can't finish them allbecuase it says its out of room!

I beleive it takes far more than 8 Gb partition to install windoze
and apps *with all sources*.
