The Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers will share their experience and advice with budding Giant Pumpkin enthusiasts at a free seminar Sunday, March 29, from 1:00- 3:00 pm at the Milwaukee County Cooperative Extension, 9501 W Watertown Plank Rd Bldg A in Wauwatosa.
Get information on how large you can grow these giant orbs and what to do with them. Plan to grow your Giant pumpkin for a 2009 Weigh-off. This year, you won't have to travel to Nekoosa to compete in a Giant Pumpkin Fest (although you probably ought to!) Milwaukee County Fair will offer your pumpkin the chance to weigh-off this year for Big cash prizes, the last weekend of September.
Giant pumpkin seeds will be for sale at the seminar.
