Hi,

This is probably a stupid question, but I can't quite find the answer. What happens when I refile a message in the Maildir directory. A message is moved from where to where? I'm new to the Maildir concept having used nmh for ages.

Thanks,
/Henrik

Hi Henrik,
Indeed -- refiling moves a message to some other maildir. You can think
of it as archiving the message. It's a concept known from e.g. mutt
('save-hook') and Wanderlust (wl-refile-rule-alist).

The idea is that after you're done with a message, you archive it in the
appropriate archive folder; you can set `mu4e-refile-folder' to some
function that can decide what that folder is (see the section of `Smart
refiling` in the manual.

Cheers,
Dirk.
