My mu & mbsync setup with my gmail account is so confusing, I can't figure out how to get it right. So for example, I'd like to be able to use gmail labels efficiently, I added this to my .mbsyncrc:
Patterns "* ![Gmail]*" "INBOX" "[Gmail]/Important" "[Gmail]/Starred" "[Gmail]/Sent Mail" "[Gmail]/Drafts" "[Gmail]/Trash" "[Gmail]/All Mail" "org-mode" "emacs" "clojure" "job" "friends"
But that doesn't seem to work right, it creates multiple maildirs, and if for example I'd go from *mu4e-main* buffer into "job" maildir and delete a bunch of emails there, it seems they also have to be removed from "INBOX" as well?
Or another thing that annoys me, I set `(mu4e-sent-folder . "/[Gmail]/Sent Mail")`, and when I send a message, and it would create a copy but it always marks it unread. Is that right? Should I be setting these like this:
(mu4e-sent-folder . "/[Gmail]/Sent Mail")
(mu4e-trash-folder . "/[Gmail]/Trash")
(mu4e-refile-folder . "/[Gmail]/All Mail")
(mu4e-drafts-folder . "/[Gmail]/Drafts")
Can someone please share their config values for isync and mu4e?
