CP/YCL Health Care Reform Party

Dear Friends and Comrades,

Next Monday the Butte YCL and Communist Party members will host a
party for health care reform, and we would like to invite you to
attend.

Our stance on the issue is that single-payer should be on the table,
and anything that does not include a strong public option at minimum
is unacceptable. We feel that Montanans must respond immediately to
Senator Baucus' watered-down bill. We will be meeting to, first of
all, write letters to Senators Baucus and Tester to let them know that
a public-funded health option is a must. In addition, we will be
discussing some of the opportunities for more direct action and making
plans to move forward on this issue. We are inviting all pro-reform
friends of all stripes to join us in this struggle, and we would also
love to have some members of other groups that are mobilizing around
this issue to attend, so that we can explore opportunities to
cooperate.

The event will take place at my place, 2300 North Drive in Butte, on
Monday Sept 28th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm (people are welcome to come late if
necessary). Refreshments will be served.

It should be a fun and productive little get-together and it'd be
really cool to see some new faces. If this is something you're
interested in, feel free to invite any friends to come with you.
