Good afternoon -requesting info from other facilities with MaaS platform using handheld devices to print labels and document collection of specimens?Our ED prints a lab label but does not necessarily document the collection of the specimen in real time which causes delay in the lab receiving and processing the specimen due to the collector's name and date/time not flowing to Lab . In the meantime a workaround is used instead of simply documenting on the worklist. - nurses are writing their initials and date/time on the tube- which the lab tech sometimes cannot decipher what's written and has to call up to the unit to get the info. Any assistance is appreciated!
