Has anyone written billing rules for lab to use for the Dez Z codes? We have a test that we send to Mayo that normally has 23 CPT codes and billing codes but if it is a Medicare patient we are supposed to use just one CPT code and the DEX Z code. I know billing rules can be written if the insurance is "X" then change the billing code but I don't know where to start with one that needs to delete 23 billing codes and just use one. Any ideas appreciated.
Thank you,
