Dear MELM group,

Concerning the amateur MELM DVD I have prepared to be sent to you... You will notice that there has been a delay... I had tried to correct some structural mistakes of my original try - in so much as requesting assistance from some people here. Unfortunately though, they could not help me much and I had to fend for myself, even so far as trying to master several multimedia encoding strategies on my own...

Due to having converted from Microsoft to Apple permanently, I refuse to work with apps in Windows. The MELM DVD in question was published via iDVD relying on a very nice personalized theme. In order to make fit all the personal videos in my archive pertaining to the MELM event into a single 4.5 GB DVD, I had to replace the original iDVD output with lower-quality VOB files prepared using FFMPEG.

Surprisingly enough, I could make the whole thing work, so too by fixing a serious glitch through MyDVDEdit. However, the final media is not up to my satisfaction and I'm stumped as to what to do next. Certain transitions and menu commands are faulty and the video display is not quite "universally compatible".

Maybe Aaron or Anthony can help me fix the obvious structural errors of this initial MELM DVD through MyDVDEdit if I send them snapshots of the relevant under-the-hood sections?

Remember, that I'm very new to this DVD mastering ordeal and appreciate any help.

I shall use this experience to attempt the professional Multimedia DVD of MELM throughout the year. You may also like to suggest a workflow for this prospected DVD and send me the pertinent materials (PDFs, PPTs, Movies, snippets, interactive add-ons, etc...) at your convenience.

Thanks!
Dr. Oz.
