I am selling a very lightly used (<500 miles) Campagnolo Bora WTO 35 (2-Way Fit) Rim Brake wheel set. These are previous-generation Campagnolo Bora WTO 35 Rim Brake version (NOT DISC) with standard quick release skewers (NOT thru axel). The 35 mm rim depth is shallow/medium profile optimized for climbing and cross-wind stability. Internal rim width is 17 mm (optimized for 25 and 28 mm tires). They have 700 x 25 Vittoria tubeless installed now and will be included in the sale. External width is 24.2 mm. Claimed weight combined is 1395 grams (front 640g; rear 755g).

They are presently setup with a Campagnolo free hub that is comparable with Campagnolo 9-12 speed cassettes. The hub cannot be converted to N3W 13 speed Campy Ekar (again, it’s a rim brake wheel set).

Knowing the crowd, the wheelset can be easily converted to most Shimano/SRAM setups. With that in mind, I will include a Shimano/SRAM free hub that is purportedly compatible with Shimano 8-11-speed, modern Shimano 12-speed road cassettes (which still use the classic HG spline pattern), or SRAM 11-speed (Campagnolo part number FH-BO015X1), however, I would ask that you double check with your local bike shop before considering purchasing. For modern SRAM AXS 12-speed wireless road electronic groupset with a cassette starting with a tiny 10-tooth cog, the Bora wheel set can still be compatible, but will require a different free hub (Campagnolo part FH-BU016XDR). Same goes about checking with your trusted bike wrench.

A little about the wheel set: The Campagnolo Bora WTO 35 (2-Way Fit) Rim Brake is a premium carbon road wheelset built for all-around speed, agile climbing, and real-world aerodynamics. These are previous-generation Campagnolo Bora WTO 35 Rim Brake wheelset stands as one of the ultimate developments in high-end, aerodynamic carbon wheels for traditional rim-caliper road bikes. "WTO" stands for Wind Tunnel Optimized, meaning every aspect of the rim profile, hub shape, and spoke shape was designed to minimize drag across real-world wind angles.

Core Technology Upgrades

  • AC3 Braking Track: Stands for All Conditions Carbon Control. It features micro-grooves textured directly into the carbon braking surface. This texture sheds water instantly, eliminating the dangerous "wet weather delay" common on older carbon wheels and matching the bite of alloy rims. Requires Campagnolo proprietary red carbon brake pads (slightly used ones included)
  • MoMag Design: The inner rim bed is completely solid with no spoke holes. Nipples are guided into place using magnets through the valve hole during assembly. This makes the structural rim bed drastically stronger and inherently tubeless-ready without requiring rim tape. Again, the set comes with a tubeless setup, Vittoria Corsa 700 x 25.
  • USB Ceramic Bearings: Built with Ultra Smooth Bearings. These high-grade ceramic ball bearings use a cup-and-cone adjustment system, reducing rolling friction substantially over traditional steel cartridges.

I am asking $1500 (list price was >$2k). I will be posting on eBay over the weekend.

Any questions or if you want to have a look, give me a call.
