Hello all bike riders! I know many of you enjoy the extensive system of trails and pathways that this great region offers us as people who enjoy the outdoors - particularly on a bicycle. What most you do not realize is that I serve on the board of Friends
of the Riverfront - an organization I am sure many of you are aware of that was founded in 1991 to help protect and restore the riverfront in the Pittsburgh region through trail development and stewardship of those very trails. For more information on Friends
as well as maps of the trails this organization maintains, see >>>
Friends of the Riverfront.
On October 21st, Friends will be hosting their premier fundraising event - Building Bridges building trails. The event will be held at Hazelwood Brewing Company - an awesome venue close to the Eliza Furnace section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. I am
inviting you to attend the event - additional information about the event and tickets can be purchased here >>>
Building Bridges building trails event!
If you cannot attend, please consider Friends when making decisions about your charitable giving. There will be food, drink and speakers speaking about the importance of our trail system as a regional asset.
I hope to see you all on the 21st!!
Don
