Our engineering department is currently looking for a Software Development
Manager.
In this exciting position, you will assume a prominent role in the
development of our industry - leading product line of network management
software. You will oversee projects and manage a development group. You will
assign tasks, review results, and deliver development projects with required
quality. The development environment includes UNIX (Solaris/HPUX/Linux),
C/C++, Perl, JavaScript and Java.
For this position, you will have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering
or a related discipline. You will have a technical background with strong
programming skills, experience with UNIX and a knowledge of networking and
software development processes and tools. You will also possess excellent
communication and leadership skills. You will have experience managing
projects and leading a team of software developers.
Knowledge of Linux, Perl, C/C++, SNMP, ATM, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, ISP or
telco environments and HTML/CGI application development are all assets.
