Hey guys,
This is Elisha writing on behalf of Shelly, the convenor of TWEDS' workshop 2012.
Debating is getting more and more popular in Taiwan in comparison with 5 or 6 years ago. The Wenzao kids fought hard to make English debating known to Taiwanese Universities. We are very glad to see the progress we have made!
The past few workshops have proven that there are many amazing debaters in Taiwan. However, in order to carry on training good debaters, it is important to train some good adjudicators as well, so that the adjudicators can give feedback to each debater and advise them what they could do to improve.
The debating workshop will be held from 2/1-2/8 next year and TWEDS' recruiting adjudicators again. The 2012 Workshop will be one of the most amazing debating workshops we have ever had. Now that we have so many debaters in Taiwan, we will be inviting professional debating coaches to come train our debaters. Our coaches include: Hafiedz, Sharmila and Tate. These are coaches who have done well as a debater, they have all had outstanding performances when they were debating, just like every one of us.
In addition to the fantastic coaches, we are happy to offer an opportunity to students who are not or have not graduated from Wenzao to apply to be an adjudicator or trainee.
We understand that quite a few people have applied to be adjudicators at Northeast Asian Open (NEAO), thus we are pretty positive that quite a few people will be capable of adjudicating at the workshop.

Adjudicator application forms will be sent out after you have expressed your interest in judging.
