Legendary is a card type, not exactly slang;

mono -> the card is one and only one of: white, blue, black, red, or green? (no multicolored, no colorless)

I support the wubrg as just wubrg, no slashes.

"mono" is in; it now means that the card is a single color (no
colorless, no multi-colored).

Also, mono-green/monogreen/mono green means it's one color, and that
color is green.

Would it be possible to get searches for mono color to include hybrid
mana symbols. For instance, mono red to include "Demigod of Revenge?"

Hm.  I don't think I'll hack "mono" to mean that (since, technically, the Demigod is really both red *and* black), but I *do* think it would be insanely useful to search for cards that you can *play* using only one color of mana.

First question: what should that keyword be?  Second question: How do I implement it?  I think I'll just add a filter with slang output to the indexing pipeline...  [nerd-think]

demigod of revenge is an important card when building a pure red deck. Adam's logic makes sense when thinking flavor but when building decks, I want to find all cards I can cast with just red mana.

Totally agreed, but there are also cards that depend on "monocolor", which is strictly a single colored card.  Perhaps [only red]?

I can agree to that

You're totally right, there needs to be a way to search for just red
(without hybrid) for various reasons including our friendly EDH
players. "Only red" or "hybrid red" both sound like good options to
me.

Alright, "only red" works, and 187 works again.

In Daring Apprentice I added an option to have "exclude unselected
colors"...

That one would find selesnya guildmage even if you only selected
white. But it works on the assumption that all cards that have only
Hybrid mana (ie. not Arsenal Thresher CC: 2(W/B)U), can be cast with
any of the colors in the hybrid colors.

The fact is, that if I search for "white bear", then I want to find
selesnya guildmage...

-Reenen

(Which I do... but I am also finding black knight --- which I guess is relevant?)

Ah, Black Knight will show up because it has "Protection from White";
if it's too high, you probably need to boost text lower than cost and
color.

Cauldronites: should this be the default? If not, perhaps the "only
white" thing could work here? I don't know.
