The Molina Foundation is coming to El Paso and they are distributing brand new books to underprivileged areas (Terrific Kids?). If you have organizations in mind that could take advantage of this program please have them register and follow the steps in this email. If your organizations have already registered then have them go directly to Step 4.

The Molina Foundation is pleased to announce our
"Families Learning Together" summer campaign
for organizations serving children in Kindergarten - 7th grade.

We are kicking off our summer campaign with a distribution event in El Paso, Texas for nonprofit programs reaching families in the community and surrounding areas.
About The Summer Slide

Children experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. This loss, commonly known as the "Summer Slide," disproportionately affects low-income students who often lose more than two months of academic achievement. Reading just a few books, and engaging in educational activities, over the summer may help keep a struggling student from "sliding" down.

We are partnering with nonprofit organizations to encourage families to practice important learning skills all summer long using the educational resources (workbooks, studybooks, activity books, and coloring books) available in this grant campaign.
