Hello Sir

As per literature the GOS values are generally 1-10 degrees .

But with MTEX I  get the GOS values are around 0.00 - 0.15.

I would like to know the units here and how can I get in degrees.

Regards
Santosh

Hi Santosh,
it’s in radians, hence *180/pi or use the mtex command /degree

Hello sir

Thanks a lot ..

Few more doubts ...

Is it possible to calculate :

1) fraction of Dynamic Recrystallization (DRX)
2) Local average misorientations (LAM) &
3) Grain average misorentations (GAM)

in mtex

Thanking you

Hi Santhosh,
it is possible to calculate many of these values, but you must know how they are defined.
You have also built-in functions for example kernel average misorientation KAM or you can calculate mean(grains.mis2mean).
Cheers,
Rüdiger
