Hi,

I want to plot some inverse pole figures for plagioclase. The reference frame I want them plotted in is the one used by Kruse et al. 2001, which is also used in CHANNEL. To get from the MTEX reference frame to the Kruse reference frame, I need to apply a 90 degree clockwise rotation, and a mirror flip around a vertical axis. I can achieve the 90 degree rotation using the 'plotx2north' option, but how do I apply the mirror flip?

Thanks,

Andrew

Dear Andrew Cross,

in you figure you should have a menu "MTEX" with a submenu "Z axis direction" change this to "Into plane" or "out of plane" to perform the mirroring. Alternatively you use the commands

plotzIntoPlane

or

plotzOutOfPlane

I hope this helps,

Ralf.
