I am extraordinarily pleased to be able to announce the newest revision of my graphical user interface for MTEX.
WHAT'S NEW?
Version 3.3 has a new tab, allowing you to segment data by xy position, data orientation, or other property. This lets you split up your dataset, and then load the new (smaller) dataset in the app for analysis or further segmenting.
Map annotations (see Tab 3) can now be removed, letting you try things out and then clear them if unsatisfactory, and some functions have waitbars letting you know how much longer a time intensive operation will take. The scaling function has been adjusted to work more evenly between different datasets.
To improve fine control, I've also added a set of arrows to the live viewer on Tab 5, allowing you to move the data point you're examining without using the cursor.
I've also made a lot
of structural changes to the app, and now much of the code is
included as separate functions. This improves running speed and
streamlines the code. Maps plotted now have an associated
programmatic tag, allowing for more app functionality, and a number
of bugs have been fixed. The version was written on MATLAB 2018b.
