NOTICE / CIRCULAR

Date: 15-11-2011

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is going to have selections in our campus for the posts of Lecturers on an annual contract basis for their IIIT campuses. These faculty members will get an opportunity for permanent positions in the subsequent selections. The Rule of reservation applicable as per AP State Government rules.

Disciplines of faculty requirement:

Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical^*, Material science & Metallurgy, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry^*, Biology^*, and English. (* PhDs preferred)

Eligibility: PG Degree with 70% for general categories and 65% for SC & ST categories. First class performance all through from X onwards.

Candidates for Engineering shall have qualified GATE and for Science and Humanities shall have passed NET/SLET.

Salary: Consolidated pay in the pay band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 with AGP of Rs. 6,000 (Approximately Rs. 3.6 to 4.5 lakhs per annum).

Interested candidates shall apply by submitting their updated resume (both Soft & hard copies) to the Training & Placement Cell on or before 25-11-2011. Final year M.Tech students (nearing thesis submission) also eligible to apply.

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is visiting the campus on 8^th December 2011 for selecting PG students for the posts of Lecturers on an annual contract basis for their IIIT campuses.

The eligibility criteria and the salary details are already notified and the applications were called on 15-11-2011.

The students, who have applied for the above posts by submitting their resumes in the Training & Placement Cell, are hereby informed to attend the Pre-Placement Talk by RGUKT on 8^th December 2011 at 09:30 AM in the University Senate Hall. The interviews follow the Pre-Placement Talk. The candidates fail to attend the Pre-Placement talk will not be considered for interviews. There is no written test.

The students have to carry two sets of copies of the certificates, two recent passport size photographs, and two updated resumes for the selections.

Dear Coordinators,

The students appearing for RGUKT (IIIT) interviews need to asemble in the University Senate Hall by 09:30 AM on 8th December.

The not registered students may also participate the selctions if they are eligible.

The 2010 & 2011 passed out students appearing for IIIT interviews need to pay Rs. 200-00 towards the registration fee.

The current students (2012 passing out) need not pay any registration fee.
