Publication Awards 2014

IEEE Bangalore Section recognizes and appreciates members who publish
papers and
contribute to technical progress. Members are requested to nominate
authors of IEEE Journal
and conference papers to inspire other members to publish. There are two
categories of
awards (a) IEEE Journal Papers and (b) IEEE conference papers.

Rules and guidelines

1.Only IEEE papers published in 2014 are eligible.
2.They should appear in IEEE explore.
3.Journal papers carry Cash award of Rs. 2000/- and a Citation
4.Conference papers carry Citation only
5.Anyone can nominate anyone, including self-nomination. Nominated Author
should be
IEEE member or student member or affiliate member. Nominator need not be.
6. One Author - One paper – One award. An author can be nominated for only
one cash
award and one citation, even though she may have published many papers,
either in
journals or conferences. A paper may have many co-authors but the award
will be given
in the name of the nominated author only (Hint: if you have many papers
nominate a
different co-author)
7. The awards committee will scrutinize the validity of submission and
confirms the award
by 10 Feb 2015. No communication for incomplete or invalid submissions.
8. Last date to submit nominations 31 Jan 2015.
9. The awards will be given in the AGM of IEEE Bangalore Section on 15 Feb
2015. The
author or nominator is requested to collect the cheque and citation on
same day.
