Dear Climate Collaborators

Warm greetings!

We trust this email finds you ready to act on dangerous climate change.

We do not mean to scare you - all we want is to tell you that you can do something about this global ‘fever’.

Indian Youth Climate Network (IYCN) and UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC), supported by the British High Commission take pride in writing to you about an online competition that can impact your life as well as many others.

  • Do you feel for the earth?

  • Do you realize that the planet needs you now?

  • Do you have new ideas that need developing?

  • Would you like your idea showcased around the world?

  • Do you need support to take your idea to the next level?

If the answer is YES, you ought to apply to the “INDIA-UK Sustainable Solution Challenge”, especially launched for the UK and Indian youth.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to combat climate change.

  • A brief overview of the competition is as follows

  • All selected online entries will be shared through an online ‘Ideas     café’ to support climate innovation

  • Online competition, to keep the carbon footprint low, for 18-35 year olds

  • Your ‘solution’ or ‘idea’ has to should address region specific solutions and ideally an element of community engagement

  • Judgment on the basis of:

    • Implementability of the concept ;

    • Scale of potential impact;

    • Sustainability of the Idea

  • 3 winners and 2 honorable mentions will be declared

  • A winner to get mentorship with a suitable Partner Organization

  • Results will be announced at the COP and winners will be felicitated in December.

Does this make you want to apply?

If so please visit our Facebook page www.facebook.com

Should you have any queries, please write back to us on sup...@iycn.in or frances...@ukycc.org .

Good luck with your ideas & applications!
