Important Guidelines

Dear all,

You are informed to read following guidelines regarding Dissertation phase I and Seminar very carefully. Tentative dates of Seminar and Dissertation are 24, 26 and 27 Dec so please start working accordingly.

Guideline for Phase - I

• For final defense you have to complete 100% Literature survey and at least 30% implementation work.
• You have to prepare 15 minutes of presentation (Strictly time bound) and Project report as per the format given in attachment
• Come with your all references in hard bound while presentation.
• In case of demonstration you have to bring your all necessary equipment.
• Kindly concern with your guide to decide what to or not to include in your presentation at least before a week.
• At least one International/ National Conference/Journal paper should be published/presented in ongoing semester.
• Your ppt must include all the Citation ( References) which you are mentioning at the last.

Guideline for Seminar

• It must include 100% relevant survey based on your seminar topic ( implementation is not necessary).
• You have to prepare 15 minutes of presentation (Strictly time bound) and Project report as per the format given in attachment.
• Material can be taken only from authenticate IEEE/other Journal or papers, text book/reference book or the institute literature.
• Come with your all references in hard bound while presentation.
• Your ppt must include all the Citation ( References) which you are mentioning at the last.

Evaluation Guideline

      it is based on

• The student has searched or worked on selected topic.
• The depth of technical aspects.
• Presentation.
• Verbal presentation
• Preparation of Power point /flash presentation
• Preparation of seminar report.
• Question Answer session
• Students should prepare according to guidelines with the guidance of guide.

      In case, if Jury rates your seminar below average / poor then there will be repeat presentation.

Kindly prepare Three Copies ( One for Department, for self and for Guide ) of your Project and Seminar report. it must strictly follow the given format.

Try to improve your presentation skill from the past suggestions. You can look on to your seminar evaluation and upgrade accordingly.
