My Dear Students

 

I write this email amidst a personal crisis.

 

My wife Preeti has been diagnosed with hip-bone cancer and the only therapy is removal of the affected part of the hip bone and replacing it with a hemi-pelvis implant. This is a supra-major surgery planned for 1^st January 2011 at Hinduja Hospital, and requires a lot of preparation – mental and otherwise.

 

I am sure that all your good wishes are with me. But I want a bit of help on another front. I need to get ready with over 8 bottles of AB+ blood. I do not know how many of us and our friends are AB+ and will be willing to donate one bottle of blood. Please let me know within the next 2 days if you, or any of your friends, can be of help with either AB+ or any other group blood (since I can request the Blood Bank to swap other than AB+ blood for AB+ from their stock).

 

I will remain indebted to you for your kind help and wishes.

Dear frnds,

Happy New Year.

As u might know filtering of grp msges has been removed long time ago but google groups automatically blocks/holds on emails (in subject) which contain words like "fwd","Urgent","Attention" and many more as spam prevention method. .Hence I request you to not to include such keywords in email subject in any of further email bcoz this results in delayed delivery of emails.
