Dear All,
             Shortly a placement committee is going to be formed that will work for our department only. That committee will take care of all the responsibility regarding training & placement of all the students of AGFE dept. (including B.tech & M.tech).They will acquire all the supports from faculty & HOD of the department. We need four candidates having good communicative skills, having broad sense in their area of specialization & are ready to dedicate their time for the committee. So virtually i have divided all the M.tech specialization into four categories, namely:
1. Farm machinery Engineering (FMP)
2. Process & food Engineering (DFE & PHE)
3. Land & water Resource Engineering ( SWCE , WRDM & others)
4. Agricultural System Management ( ASM &  AQUA & others)
                        Work of the 1st category will be to search for companies related to farm machnery only. 2nd group will take care for food & dairy  industries. Further 3rd & 4th will take care of all irrigation & GIS based companies along with the finance sector, agribussiness & aqua based companies. Intogether 3rd & 4th group will work together with proper co-ordination as most of the companies are common to both groups. They all will get full  support from their faculty advisors & seniors.So please forward me your names today itself, so that i can shortlist four of you all & forward it to HOD. If you have any enquiry regarding anything You can mail me or call me any time.

I feel there should be two different people for aqua and ASM as these are different fields and also because agribussiness is big sector and companies fro this sector can be beneficial for all the groups.
