Fwd: PG girls petition (please read this carefully)

Hello fellow PGs,

As you all know already, you will be staying in H10 extension double rooms
for this year also, unless some other development takes place. At the same
time, your male counterparts (PG second year) have got cozy single rooms
either in H-12 or in new hostel H-14.

The only "some other development" that can get you single rooms in your
second year atleast, is that girls be given one more hostel, or at least one
wing in another hostel. However, the authorities, so far have failed to realize
that there is any discrimination between PG boys and PG girls (the fact that
they got single room in their second year, while you did not). BTW, this has
been happening since at least the past 4 years, or more. Even I, personally,
have been through the same.

In order to make sure our pleas for accommodation do not fall on deaf ears
once again, we need maximum support from all PG girls. This time, we are
petitioning the director, our petition is attached in this mail. Though this
petition has originated at H11, it is on behalf of all PG girls. If you believe
in this, and wish to support us, please let us know how we can collect maximum
number of signatures from your end.

In any case, the petition will be submitted on tuesday at the latest. Your
support can only make the case stronger.
