Dear Professor,

This is an advance information as time is short.

We are conducting a 2 day Faculty Improvement Training Workshop for 2 days ( 7 hours a day)  on above topic using ARDUINO open source platform. 

This is ideally suited for faculty members with Electronics, Electrical Engg background with very little C Programming experience. Those who are in CS and IT stream and wish to program at bits and bytes level in C will also find this a very enriching experience. .

The focus will be on building quick prototypes using this platform for minor and major projects.

The fee is very nominal - about Rs. 650 per person. Each participant can optionally buy and carry with them an Arduino Board with many accessories by paying Rs. 1000 extra.

I have been training students and teachers on this platform since last 16 months and find this a very inexpensive, helpful and a smooth learning / training medium.
