Dear Students,

 

Refer to Gurneet's mail Most of Our Universities are suffering a lot due to Corruption.  I am presenting Scientific reason for need to be with 'India Against Corruption'. (Do not take it as Our University. It may or may not be true or provable.) 

 

Suppose a University is doing Construction work of Rs. 10 Crore in a Year. Then 35-37% eaten away. This is Rs. 3.5 Crore. Rs. 3.5 Crore will give Scholarships and rewards to thousands of poor students,  give better health care in the University and faster clearance of your Scholarship Bills by the persons presently busy in Checking Construction files and handling them on fast track.

 

I heard that UGC spent Rs. 750 Crore as aid to Hostels in Delhi Colleges under CWG, which perhaps went as waste. All college students of the Country would have been given free books of their courses from this money. 

 

Actually amount of corruption is not one crore or ten but runs in thousand Crores in Sum total of Indian Universities.    

 

I have seen a father having pain in leg walking three kilo-meter to work place daily for one month because of buying a book of Rs. 100 for a B.Sc. Physics Course (1/3 of Salary per month).  I have spent 44 years in Research and Teaching by now, except the tears in eyes, people of my fraternity cannot be of much help.

 

Students power can do wonders. If you feel convinced than be with 'India Against Corruption'. That is why Anna is attracting 95% of the Youths of the Country in Numbers, be Shillong or Bangalore or Bombay or Chennai or Delhi or Amritsar. 

 

Children of 8-9 years age group,  listening to PM speech of Independence day (brought by a School to listen at Red Fort) were asked by Zee TV crew,  that What Anna is doing? Children replied that 'fighting for corruption'. Children of 8-9 years was not able to comprehend the honourable PM speech that too on independence day! 

 

Work of Vincton Cerf, Metcalfe, Tim Bernes Lee and many Engineers have made the media easy, Internet a virtual Jantar mantar and Ram Lila Maidan, have made things more transparent. The corrupts can not eat butter under the blanket cover any more. 

 

Future of India is very bright.  We know how to study, how to work hard and we know Ultimately the  Evil ends. Let us study and work hard and be aware of harms of the Cancer grown in the Society.
