Huawei is conducting an International coding contest called “CODE CRAFT 2017”. Students at selected colleges can participate in this program. Students can register as single members or groups (Maximum of 3 members in a group). Request very good participation from the colleges.
Brief Introduction
HUAWEI Code Craft 2017 is a major software competition held to provide a platform for college students all over the world to present their software designing and coding abilities, enjoy the pleasure of solving problems by coding, and feel the world-changing strength of software.
The proposition of HUAWEI Code Craft 2017 is "Video Era – Layout". Competitors from eight China divisions and two global division will compete together. The competition is divided into four stages: preliminary contest, repechage, quarter-final, and fina.
Entry Requirements
(1) Applicant qualification: full-time college students from all over the world
(2) Programming language: C/C++/Java
(3) Participation method: Only teams containing one to three people from one or multiple colleges in the same division can participate in the contest.
Awards
Final：
First prize (one team):CNY200,000 Cash award, trophy, certificate, and qualification to participate in talent plans such as Final Interview Express and Internship Express.
Second prize (two teams): CNY100,000 Cash award , trophy, certificate, and qualification to participate in talent plans such as Final Interview Express and Internship Express.
Third prize (five teams):CNY50,000 Cash award , trophy, certificate, and qualification to participate in talent plans such as Final Interview Express and Internship Express.
Prize for the most exquisite code (one team):CNY10,000 Cash award , trophy, certificate, and qualification to participate in talent plans such as Final Interview Express and Internship Express.
Quarter-final:
riumph prize (four teams each division):prize, certificate, and qualification to participate in talent plans such as Final Interview Express and Internship Express.
Excellent prize (5 to 36 teams each division):competition souvenir, certificate, and qualification to participate in the Final Interview Express.
Nominee t prize (37 to 64 teams each division):certificate, and qualification to participate in the Final Interview Express.
Process Overview
1.Preliminary contest
Schedule:
March 3: Publish the proposition.
April 6: Ending of work submission.
April 7: Announce the top 64 teams.
Competition rule: Top 32 teams in each division directly enter the quarter-final. 33 to 64 teams enter the regional repechage.
2.Regional repechage
Schedule:
April 7: Start the competition.
April 8: Announce the top teams.
Competition rule: Top 4 teams of each division enter the quarter-final.
3.Quarter-final
Schedule:
April 9: Publish the proposition.
April 22: Start the competition.
April 23: Announce the top teams.
Competition rule: Top 4 teams of each division win the triumph prize
4.Final
May 12 - May 14
Competition site: Shenzhen (Huawei HQ)
Competition rule: The final is held in multiple rounds. The top 8 teams and the most exquisite code will be decided.
