Dear All,
The attached Notice regarding 9 new courses of Performing Arts which are now being included to the choice of Open Electives (OE) has been uploaded on Amizone for all the students of UG and PG programmes of AUUP, today under “Notices” section in the following link:

Since these courses are very close to the heart of our Hon’ble Founder President Sir, you are requested to kindly promote these courses so that maximum number of students can benefit from these Performing Arts OE courses.
This notice is also attached herewith for your ready reference.
NOTICE
To all the students of UG & PG Programmes of AUUP
Knowingly various Open Elective (OE), various Domain Elective (DE) and various Outdoor Activity Based Courses (OABC) have already been introduced with effect from the academic session started from July 2014.
On the explicit recommendation of Founder President, the following new courses of Performing Arts are also now being included to the choice of Open Electives (OE).
1. Kathak
2. Bharatnatyam
3. Odisi
4. Kuchipudi
5. Sitar
6. Guitar
7. Tabla
8. Synthesizer
9. Vocal Singing
Each of this course is of one credit unit and will be taught in a practical mode. Classes for these courses will commence from Saturday, the 21st of February 2015, as per the following schedule:
A. Twice a week - each time two sessions of 50 minutes each, from 3.40 pm to 5.25 pm (during the week from Monday - Friday)
OR
B. Saturday, four sessions from 10.15 am to 1.45 pm (weekend classes)
One has to attend only one day during the week as per the choice or on Saturday.
As most of the students have already selected and frozen their APWs, any student who has interest in any of these nine courses, may send his/her request to the undersigned through their HoIs or directly for either changing their OE or taking performing arts courses as additional OE courses. The request must reach the undersigned latest by Friday, the 13th of February 2015.
One can choose the timings and should also give his/her first and second preference.
