We are very happy to inform that,

By AMMAs Grace we have been approved and entitled to use the title "WORLD CENTER OF EXCELLENCE ON LANDSLIDE DISASTER REDUCTION" by The International Programme on Landslides (IPL).  The International Consortium of Landslides (ICL) founded The International Programme on Landslides (IPL). It exchanged MoU to promote IPL with the UNESCO, WMO, FAO, UNISDR, UNU, ICSU and WFEO.  ICL is the top Consortium for Landslide research. 

The certificate for this is conferred at the 4th World Landslide Forum in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the whole world 20 world center of excellence has been identified and we are one among them. We can hold this title till 2020. after which re-evaluation will happen. 

Our PhD Student, Ms. Hemalatha has received the prestigious Best Paper Award  in the conference, The World Landslide Forum in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Everyone in the forum appreciated her work.
