End: Heap is corrupted

Hello I'm looking for some advice I downloaded the binaries and samples and built the sample application with open watcom and when I run it on a DOSBOX instance it runs completely fine until the end. When the program terminates it displays that the heap was corrupted I'm not sure if im building it wrong and i havent edited the sample application yet but was wondering if you had any thoughts. I can share any other information you may need

Are you using the fork of Open Watcom 2.0 on GitHub?  If so, don't - it is bad and you are the fourth person to run into this problem recently.

Go back to Open Watcom 1.9 - it works correctly.  If you do try a newer Open Watcom, get it from the Open Watcom team directly - do not use that forked version on GitHub.
