Snowy Mountains Social Weekend
Lock in Saturday the 8th and Sunday 9th of March, for a weekend of riding the fantastic bike and bridle trails around the 3 Mile Dam, Kiandra and Cabramurra Area. More specific details to come on the trails we will ride, but the plan is for somewhere between 50-70km’s on the Saturday and 25-40km’s on the Sunday. This may vary a bit depending on numbers. For those of you wanting to do less than that, there should be out and back and car shuffle options on some of the trails, which will help knock some of the distance off. Details for now are:
Saturday 8th: Meet at the western end (2nd entrance and the one that is signed) of the 3 Mile Dam campground at 10am, ready to ride. Be fully self sufficient with all of your food and water requirements and expect some steep stuff in sections. Those staying for the Sunday ride can camp overnight at the 3 Mile Dam campground. Please note there are pit toilets here only, so you will need to bring all of your own food, water, cooking and camping gear.
It would be good to get an idea of numbers, so please respond on Facebook if you are intending to come or email enq...@mtbwagga.asn.au. Those of us doing the planning are hoping to touch base in the next week or two and will provide more info after that.
