Today, I ask that each of you to come along with me to a journey of love.  According to the Spiritual Gems from Mother Teresa “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”  Dear Christ, giver of all gifts, you give us as well the simple gift of smile.  How small it is and yet how beautiful when it is given with genuine love.  When I smile at others today, I am living out your new commandment to love others as you loved them.  Help me to remember that a smile is truly an action of love, a beautiful and simple gift. 

Action:  Today I will remember to smile at my neighbors, friends and especially the people that I don’t like that much, remembering that I can make their lives more beautiful. 

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” (John 15:12)

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let us meditate on the Rosary with the Glorious Mysteries:

1.      The Resurrection- we pray for the gift of Faith.

2.      The Ascension- we pray for the gift of Hope.

3.      Descent of the Holy Spirit- we pray for the gift of Love of God.

4.      The Assumption- we pray for the gift of Grace of Happy Death.

5.      The Coronation- we pray for Trust in Mary’s Intercession.

Today we celebrate Trinity Sunday.  We are called to reflect the Trinity-as-Community in our daily activities and relationships.  May we always be guided by the Trinity of love as we give to others the simple gift of smile next week and beyond.  Amen.
