Hi all: Apparently, someone set up this site as a fake MAPN site. Please note that it is not in any way affiliated with MAPN. I am in the process of reporting it to Google Groups and asking that it be removed. If you would like to join MAPN (the real one), please go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mtairyparentsnetwork and submit your request.

Hi folks: Just a reminder that this site you're currently reading this message from is NOT the Mt. Airy Parents Network (MAPN). In fact, it's an open group with no owner or moderator, which means that anyone can see your posts, glean any personal information you've included, etc. I've notified Google, but there doesn't appear to be anything that we can do to have it removed.

MAPN is housed at http://tinyurl.com/mapn-newsite It's free and open to any parent, grandparent, or legal guardian of a minor age child. MAPN currently includes ~1,300 families and provides a safe place for parents to share information and discuss issues of concern to them.
