Local dance school open house this weekend!

Join us at PDT on August 15th for our Open House and Free Outdoor Performance

Whether you’re looking for your child’s first encounter with dance or considering a new place to grow their passion, Philadelphia Dance Theatre offers a welcoming home for dancers ages 3 and up.

PDT provides a comprehensive dance experience through four distinct divisions:

• Pre-School Division - Structured for developmental milestones, ages 3 to 6
  
  

• Primary Division - Training for ages 7 and up, serving both recreational dancers and those with serious aspirations
  
  

• Pre-Professional Division - A rigorous class and performance program for advanced dancers

• Adult Division - A flexible drop-in schedule for adult dancers of all experience levels
  
  

Our performance season is rich and varied, including a full-length Nutcracker, a spring concert featuring a children’s ballet, the Breaking Ground Concert showcasing cutting-edge choreography, and the June Showcase for all dancers.

We invite you to explore all that PDT has to offer at our Open House and Free Outdoor Summer Performance on Friday, August 15.

Schedule of events:

• 4:00-5:00 PM – Meet our faculty, tour our studios, and explore our programs
  
  

• 4:00-4:45 PM – Beginner Ballet Sample Class (Ages 7–10, no experience required)
  
  

• 4:15-4:45 PM – Pre Ballet Sample Class (Ages 3–5, no experience required)
  
  

• 5:00 PM – Free Outdoor Summer Performance on our summer stage. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!
  
  

Faculty will be available to recommend the appropriate class level for your dancer and guide you through the registration process.
