Find Bus Vehicle ID

Hi there,

Good morning! Anyone knows where to find the vehicle ID that I can use to associate with bus trips? I'm using the static GTFS data which does not have vehicle ID, or did i miss it? 

Basically the reason why I need vehicle ID is because my analysis focuses on the operations of the buses, rather than the routes. Wondering if anyone can direct me to the right place for the vehicle ID data. Much appreciated!

its not in the GTFS feed because its not assigned ahead of time. you will find it in the SIRI API response however,

The vehicle_id is in the gtfs_rt bus feed.
