The MTA bus tracker app is unhelpful and misleading- to say the least - regarding the QM2 bus on weekends.  Last night (June 11) I
arrived at the bus stop on Powells Cove Blvd and 162nd st at 7:40 pm to wait for the bus to midtown that was scheduled
for 7:51 pm.  I checked the MTA bus tracker app and it said the next bus was over 17 miles away and scheduled to leave the
terminal at 8:40 pm.  No mention of the 7:51 bus.

I called MTA customer service and spoke to an agent who called the depot.  She told me there was no answer and advised
me to forget the QM2 and to take a local bus to the subway instead.   Much longer trip but good advice.

For some reason the app is unable to give real time  for this bus route.   Can't someone fix the app??

Thanks for the feedback.  We will consider it, but please file an official complaint to the MTA page as well.

Was this bus tracker app a third party app or the MTA BusTime app? We do not provide official support to third party developers, but they do obtain information from the agency.  I can see an issue as the data has not been updated by the developer or there is an error.  If this is the official MTA BusTime app, we can assist.  However, file an official response as stated above.

The app I use is the official MTA Bus Tracker- the MTA Bus Time App for Android..  I have contacted the MTA about this- many times- by phone and email-. to no avail. The official MTA response is just to acknowledge that I contacted the MTA and nothing else.  I hope that a techie can fix the app or communication with the QM2 depot or both.
Thanks - I hope I have finally reached the right people.
