Latitude and Longitude for Subway Trains

Hi -

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the latitude and longitude of subway trains? When I query `entity.trip_update.position` or `entity.position` from the API response, the position is never filled. Wondering if there is a different way to get this information, or that it's just never present.
