Greetings,

First, I am grateful to find Git for Window as I will need Git on the contract I start next week.

When I start Git Bash text is gray and background is black. I usually reverse these in cmd windows to make it easier for me to see. However that does not affect Git output which is green or yellow. On my monitors these appear as dark green and dark yellow on black. Is there a config or attribute file where these colors can be changed?

Thanx,
jh

Yes, run

git help config

and look for any value mentioning "color" in its name.
You can customize any color you wish; supposedly you should
do that on the global level (use `git config --global color.foo blah`).
