Hi
I am looking at setting up two Exchange 2007 systems on different
sites and I would like to use Standby Continuous Replication to give
us some resilience. The microsoft documentation shows how the
mailboxes are updated but it is not clear how calendars and public
folders are replicated.
If one of the servers goes down and we switch to using a the remote
replicated database will my users be able to access their calendars
and any public folders that we have in place?
Last question for the real experts here:
If I have different mail systems operating at each site and the both
hold replicas for the other site is is possible to share calendars and
contacts between the sites and still have this work whenever one of
the servers goes down? It is a tricky one this and the resturn process
to using the live database when the server is back up again would be
difficult.
Answers to any or all questions greatly appreciated.
