This may be used by you, in case, you are required to fight for your rights, if the services are not given by the department.
Similarly, if you are required to know the timeline for delivery of services or discharge of the officer duty,it is better to demand citizen charter from the concerned officer./ department head.
Mostly, it is given in the website. If the same is not available, you may demand under RTI.
If any complaint is not redressed within the given time limit as per the Citizen Charter, you may directly file a complaint against the officer before the Lokayukta and get the justice.
