We will have a collection box at this Sunday’s tournament at Massabesic Middle School.  Please see below for more info.

Although we've had a very mild fall so far it has still been difficult for many families in Maine. KidsPeace works with some of those families to help connect them to the services and resources in their community, but sometimes those services and resources are sparse. One need that KidsPeace has noticed this year has been the need for winter boots and jackets for our families. Many of these children are entering this cold weather with only basic shoes on their feet. They have been lucky so far that the snow has been minimal, but their luck can only last so long in this frigid state.

The holiday season is coming up and although many kids are wishing for extravagant gifts, many more are wishing for the basic need of warmth. It would be greatly appreciated for those of the Maine volleyball community to donate new or gently used boots and jackets for kids of all ages. Our office currently serves boys and girls in the age ranges of 4 to 17. It is difficult to make a list of every child's size, though some are available. Be assured that no donation will go to waste. For further information regarding specific sizes or KidsPeace services, please contact Amy Castonguay at amy.Gre...@gmail.com or text 207-740-7343
