Hi All Parents,

 

One more week before kids’ spring break (no classes 4/3!)

 

·         School Administrator Meeting @room 110, 10:40 – 11:40. Anyone is welcome!

·         Last week we had a school board meeting:

o   4 of 7 current members attended;

o   I reported progress/updates of my past 2 years 2014 - 2016

o   Discussed school principal transition to Yue Qi for term 2016 – 2018

o   Discussed board member transition: 4 will stay, 1 (me) will join, 1 is waiting for final decision. The board expects 1-2 parents to join the board to increase the diversity – So please let me know if you are interested in!

A few notices to repeat:

 

·         Parents pls let teacher know ahead that if you kids will not attend a class or need to leave in the middle of a lesson!!!

·         If you come, come on Time!

• Security/Safety is #1!

a.       So educate/remind your kids/students to stay in the building and in the floor where your classrooms are located during lesson times/breaks:

b.      Do not run in the building! Kids do not go to other classrooms if no adults accompany.

c.       (Next semester, we will explore the option: lock three gates of the building but leave the front one –south-facing open!)

• Educate your kids/students to follow rules/instructions from teachers/parents/adults in the classroom and in the building
• Educate your kids/students not to break/destroy any properties they do not own, such as computers/projectors/windows/chairs/desks/… in the building/classroom.

a.       If found anything, please report to teachers/school.

b.      If not instructed by teachers, please do not touch any facility such as computers/cables/projectors/window blinds/… in the building
