I believe she joined as a parent rep. She is a parent; as Hongli Feng, a professor of Ag Economics, is joining the coming school admin team, she prob can resign from this board and work for the admin team completely (Just to avoid some conflict of interests).
Also, we will have Qi, and Xuefei join the board: maybe we need some more parent reps – we need to check the current list of board members.

Thank you for your hard work during this year. We will have a board meeting in Aug.
There might be a confusion of the school management team and the board. When did Hongli become a board member? What’s her last name? Is she a parent?
The board is mainly composed of retired principals and two parent representatives. We can make an announcement of the board members in August after the meeting.

Sounds good to me. No problem at all. At yesterday’s meeting, we all understand we need more volunteers for school management team. We will find a time in Aug. and have a meeting and get together with both the board and the management team, so that we can know each other better, especially with so many new members.

I really enjoyed working w all of you: thanks to Yue, Xuefei, and Qing for taking leadership and putting hard word for our kids, school, and community! And, also, a lot of “young” parents who are willing to come to help! Yue recruited one Prof Deng Yiming, who does not even have his kid in school yet!
