Dear All,

Several very important notes below, please read carefully:

  1. Thanks for parents’ help, we had first round of teacher interviews last week. We are planning to have one more round before the end of this semester.
  2. Considering what happened recently in classrooms, the school with input from parents, teachers, parent reps and permission from the school board, has decided to implement a school-wide rule on classroom management that we would like teachers to adopt and enforce. Here are the details:

a)      If a student does not follow teachers’ instruction/rule and school’s rules, teacher may warn him/her at most three times during one Sunday lesson (2 hours)

b)      If after three times, the student still violates rules/instructions, teacher needs to report that and bring that student immediately to school officers on duty

c)       In this case, school will collect details and work with parents/parent reps/teachers to resolve this issue. The actions may be for example, parents sitting in classroom, suspending 2 weeks, or dismissing the student from the school (the worst)

(All parents please read carefully and if any comments/recommendations/questions, please see school administrators at room 110 or email us)

  1. Also, as the semester is close to the end, please send us your comments on your teacher to help us evaluate their performance and give constructive recommendations to their teaching. You are encouraged to collect feedback from your kids as well.
  2. Please see the school’s financial reports of the past three semesters: http://msuchineseschool.org/index.php/about/financial-reports-2/
  3. Financial seminar on education fund by Cindy Liu, Room 110, 10:40 – 12 pm
