Hi Dear all board members, parents, students, teachers and friends,

This will be my last weekly email to everyone for my term (2014 – 2016) at MSU Chinese School. I will take this time to thank you and appreciate your support. Let’s continue to support the school and the new school admin team for our kids, our community, and Chinese culture!

There are a lot of unsung heroes behind the success of MSU Chinese School. I would like to give a special thanks to our Class Parent Reps! The whole admin team and I are really happy with their support inside and outside of classrooms, with kids, teachers and parents!

And to my team members: so supportive, so constructive, putting so much time in, … THANKS!

As promised and for sure, I will continue to assist the school (only for Lantern Festival)!

Business as usual: couple of notes -

1. Please show your appreciation to those teachers (Teacher Chen Shujie of Grade 3) and Teacher Li Yunfan of grade 8) who are going to leave after this semester! Sure, to those who stay as well…
2. Thanks for parents’ help, we had two rounds of teacher interviews. We have made offers to head teachers and sub teachers as well. We also already invited these teachers to our teacher training and teacher activities. Appreciate their early contributions!

4. Also, as the semester is close to the end, please send us your comments on your teacher to help us evaluate their performance and give constructive recommendations to their teaching. You are encouraged to collect feedback from your kids as well. – We received some not too many! More to come!

The final week 5-15, I will give a final financial report for the past two years (Sorry could not do this yearly): 10:40 – 11:40, rm 110 @berkey hall. Everyone is welcome – also a bye to my term.
