Celebrating similarities, understanding differences...

We seek to converse, not to convert.

School is right around the corner and we have a lot to do! The first weeks of school are the perfect opportunity to reach out and get a whole new set of members. Below, there are

Sparticipation

Tuesday, 8/27, 4pm-10pm (Munn Field)
We will not have a booth this year but will be passing out candy and other things as well as spreading the word about our organization. This will be pretty low key stuff but we would still love people to come help walking around and handing out goodies. This is an opportunity to reach out to other organizations on campus that we could communicate with on a regular basis. It is also an amazing time with food and fireworks as well as music. Below are times to sign up to represent CIC.Go to this site for more information about the event - http://fallwelcome.msu.edu/day3.html

Spartan Remix

Thursday, 9/5, 6:00-9:00pm

We will have a booth at this event and think that “Interfaith Trivia” was too much of a hit from last year to let it go. We are designing the board and would love you suggestions! Let us know what you think would be the best categories or facts we should put on the board. We also need to have volunteers for this event as well! Below are time slots that if you are interested you can email back with which time you would like to attend the event with us. The event is absolutely amazing and really moving. There are cultural groups all together on one field promoting acceptance and celebration of each other! Please come, even if you can’t volunteer with us. Go to this site for more information about the event - http://ocat.msu.edu/contact-us/spartan-remix

5:30pm-6:30pm

6:30-7:30pm

7:30-8:30pm

There will be more events as the weeks proceed, including information about when and where our first meeting will be. We look forward to seeing you on campus and starting another great year with some great conversations.  Again please volunteer for times and let us know of any more ideas you have for trivia or anything else. We would really appreciate the help.
